What's the Application Process?
Each development page has an enquiry form where you can fill out your contact details, our teams will contact you via email to continue the process.
How Long will it take?
We have a large volume of enquiries and to help speed the process up we encourage our applicants to avoid calling us if possible. We reserve the phone lines for emergency calls so they can be dealt with quickly. Referencing can take up to 7 working days depending on how much information is provided and the suitability of any parties who require a reference.
How Long Can I Stay in a Property?
This depends entirely on your circumstances. You could stay just 6 months in some cases, however, most of our tenancies are a minimum of 12 months. We aren't able to offer short stays for our apartments currently. Providing you pass our midterm and other inspections, and agree to any changes in rent when signing the new contract, we welcome our tenants to stay as long as they like.
What Documents do I need?
In most cases, landlords and agents will want to confirm your identity, immigration status, credit history, student status and possibly employment status. Having documents to verify these ready during your application form will speed up the process and get you moving in no time. A list of documents could look like this:
- Driving License or Passport
- Visa
- A bank statement or an in-date payslip
- Student ID (if required)
- Contract of employment
I Need to Move Soon
If you have sent an enquiry and need to move quickly, you can request a FastPass form which helps us collect all the information and a holding fee for your room upfront.
A completed application form and holding fee need to be paid to secure/reserve the apartment for up to 15 days, whilst referencing is underway. Referencing is completed by a third-party company and then passed back to us upon satisfactory completion - once all the relevant checks have been passed we can give you the keys or provide you with a move-in date to collect.
What is the Right to Rent?
Landlords in England must check that all people aged 18 or over, living in their property as their only or main home have the right to rent. These checks are required before the start date of your tenancy agreement, we will complete these checks. If you would like to know more please click here.
